The festival commenced with children setting up their allotted stalls by gathering the chairs and tables and putting up colourful and bold banners and posters for the representation and promotion of their miniature shops cum stalls. The festival incorporated a wide variety of food stalls of tasty delicacies and authentic mouth watering cuisines of various regions. Bal mela proved to bring out the best in children for the amount of time and hard work was put in. This year bal mela also managed to display an effort of charity for the patients of leprosy in the valley. The stall no 17 of the festival worked for the purpose of charity and donated the money for the suffering of patients. \nWith the pumping music played by the demand stall\, the ambience was quite energetic and frolic.
