SUMMARY:Independence Day Celebrations
DESCRIPTION:15th August\, one of the most important days in the History of India. The day was celebrated in the school with great zeal. Class V conducted a special Assembly on Independence Day. The programme began with a Patriotic song followed by a speech on freedom. Some students also quoted the contributions of the freedom fighters and their untold sacrifices. \nThe programme concluded with the National Anthem.

SUMMARY:Independence Day Celebrations
DESCRIPTION:The Students of Middle Wing showed a great deal of Patriotism and love for National freedom by celebrating Independence day on the morning of 20th August\, 2013. The celebrations involved patriotic songs by the students\, Independence day speech and the Quotes of Mahatma Gandhi. The speech was also given by the students regarding the sacrifices made by various National leaders for the sake of Independence. The Principal of the School appreciated the students for their vision for Independence and patriotic endeavour.

SUMMARY:Overnight Camp LKG
DESCRIPTION:106 students of class LKG had the time of their lives when they participated in a Life Skills Enhancement Overnight Camp organised by the Tiny Tots Wing on 24th and 25th August\, 2013.\nThe camp kick started with enthusiastic students arriving promptly at 9:00 am with their equally enthusiastic parents. Seeing the youngsters confidently entering the Atrium with their luggage was a sight to behold. There were very few tears when they bid good bye to their parents. Teachers presented a welcome song and a puppet show which depicted the values of good manners.\nThe ravenous youngsters then proceeded to the canteen area for a hearty breakfast. This was followed by an activity session where students enjoyed games like ‘Tailing a Donkey’\, ‘Rolling the Ball’\, ‘Guess who am I?’\, and ‘Is the lamb at home?’. After lunch\, students relaxed for a while. The afternoon siesta was followed by swimming in the water world. All students splashed to their hearts’ content. The Art activity session which saw children painstakingly creating beautiful things by making Baby Chicks\, Friendship bands\, Photo frames using Dal\, Butterfly\, etc. They made beautiful things which were displayed later. One parent said\, “I can’t imagine that my child has made this.”\nThe students were surprised and delighted when they were invited to a candle lit dinner in the Indoor Stadium which was decorated for the occasion. Dinner was followed by a Bonn-Fire. The students then slept peacefully till they woke next day and proceeded for a morning walk and exercise on the ground. After breakfast\, students voiced their feelings about the camp both verbally and in drawings. ‘I enjoyed so much; I don’t want to go home’.
