Orientation Programme of Class X
Consistent with its policy of promoting transparency, the School conducted an orientation program for parents of class X on 26th May 2015. The Academic Incharge Ms. Nowsheen Bashir introduced the parents to the objectives of such programme stressing upon the need to bridge communication gaps between parents and teachers for a holistic development of the children. Mr Muzaffar Coordinator Social Sciences delivered a short presentation highlighting and explaining the concept, methodology and intricacies of Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation. A short interactive session followed, presided over by the Principal Kusum Warikoo. The parents outlined several concerns – academic and non-academic. Some major outcomes of the interaction were the establishment of remedial classes after school for mathematics, inclusion of selected parents in the academic process as Guest Faculty and a clarification on the communicative hierarchies – Teacher- Coordinator-Academic Incharge-Principal-Chairman. The orientation ended with a vote of thanks delivered by the academic Incharge.
