Class VIII Parent’s Orientation Programme
The Parent Teacher Orientation programme was held today. The programme started with the welcome speech by the academic incharge Ms Hina Qadri who emphasized on how to bridge the gap between teachers and parents. She discussed about the different means and ways through which a parent can approach the teachers and put forward their issues to be solved in time.It was followed by the detailed presentation by Ms Fehmida Khaliq and Mr Sajid Reshi about the academics. They briefed about all the subjects taught and highlighted the parameters and Ruberics. They also shared some videos of Role plays and new techniques used for teaching.
Co-curricular activities were discussed by Ms. Rukhsana, the activity incharge of VII-VIII wing. She not only discussed each and every co-curricular activity dealt in the school but made the parents realize their importance by stressing on various developments they bring in the child. An open interaction on behavioural issues of the students was taken by the counselor Mr. Irfan. He discussed some important cases wherein he laid stress on the role of parents in a child’s life. Ms Syed Sumaira talked about different Exchange programme she explained the different Scholarship programmes conducted by AFS as to how our children can become a part of these programmes and how beneficial they are to bring a change in a child’s future.
