Parent Orientation Programme of Class III
In its quest to provide quality education to its students and with the sole purpose of bringing the two most indispensable factors of the child’s journey of education i.e the parents and teachers, closer to one another the school organized an orientation programme for the parents of class III on 16 March, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the school auditorium.
The session started with a welcome note by Ms Bilquis Qadir, incharge of the Junior wing followed by a short video which provided the parents with an insight into the school curriculum. Furthermore, parents were briefed about the guidelines of the new CBSC examination pattern and were made aware about the four main exams to be held through the year.
The coordinators of different subjects summarized the enrichment of the respective subjects and the importance of maintaining notebooks. Besides, parents were also furnished with the details of SEN where provisions for the students having special needs and learning disabilities are met.
In an interactive session, Ms. Bilquis and Ms. Shafaq Afshan, Vice Principal of the school answered the queries of the parents and gave them assurance of doing the best for our students. Stress was laid on encouraging children to read more and more as it will go a long way in developing good communication and language skills. Parents were instructed on encouraging the children to regularly take part in the school clubs and other activities. The parents were also requested to cooperate with the school in making the students better and responsible beings.
Vote of thanks was then given by Ms. Bilquis Qadir and the session ended on a good note as the parents went satisfied and happy.
