Workshop on Mathematics
Mr.Jose Paul, an eminent Mathematician, having worked with St. Stephens School, New Delhi, was here in Delhi Public School, Srinagar on 4th of September, 2012 to interact with the Maths teachers, telling them and teaching them how Maths can be taught in a play-way method. How simple fractions can be taught by folding paper, the place value with coloring squares and dots, in fact how Maths can become more interesting for the teachers who viewed Mathematics with a complete new insight. It was an entirely new experience and the teachers sat through the whole session awed and mesmerized. The teachers say that they have been truly benefited and are sure classroom teaching will become more interactive and more interesting.
