Hilal Ahmed Munshi attends training workshop conducted by tGELF
Teachers from various schools throughout India attended the workshop in skilling and Knowhow initiative for Lifelong Leadership Development (SKILLD) at The Tagore International School at Vasant Vihar in Delhi on 12- 14 April 2018. Hilal Ahmed Munshi (Faculty Commerce XII) attended the workshop from our school.
The session was conducted by The Global Education & Leadership foundation (tGELF) who had roped in Mr. Steve Mariotti from Chicago as the resource person. The teachers were trained to conduct the respective modules of SKILLD in their classes with the help of the various group discussions, interactive sessions, visuals, role plays, and activities designed for the learners from the tGELF manual.The workshop aimed at training the teachers to be effective facilitators to build a community of ethical, altruistic leaders on the planet who work together to improve the state of the world with the help of tGELF program.
Lastly every participant was awarded a certificate for the workshop by Gowri Ishwaran, CEO of The Global Education & Leadership Foundation who also emphasized in her lecture that the entrepreneurship must be introduced as a subject in the schools which will be taught as per the CBSE curriculum as the tGELF focuses on Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
