Sehar Masarat, a student of Grade VIII, won the sub-junior State Badminton Championship and has qualified for the Sub-junior National Championship to be held at Patna from Dec. 4th-8th, 2012.

Because of her aerobic stamina, agility, strength, speed and precision, she has also won the State Badminton Junior Championship U17 category and is all set to represent J&K in Junior National Badminton Championship to be held at Imphal from 14th-18th of Nov. 2012.

Apart from this, Sehar has also participated in the finals U17 on Nov. 7th, 2012 at Jammu and won with a convincing victory scoring 21-8 and 21-9 in straight sets.
