
Exciting Start to the New Session at LRC Department
The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at Delhi Public School kicked off the new academic session with a series of engaging and skill-building activities designed to create an enjoyable and enriching learning environment for students.
The day featured a String Activity to enhance fine motor skills, along with interactive sessions such as stamp art, cup stacking, rubber trap, and blow cup race, all aimed at improving coordination, focus, and teamwork. Senior students participated in an origami session, where they crafted paper cats to develop patience and concentration. They also took part in a promise-writing activity, reflecting on values like kindness, responsibility, and discipline.
Students also enjoyed a Penguin Puppet Show and a Mystery Box activity, both of which sparked their creativity and curiosity. To help students connect with their surroundings, special sensory activities were organized where they explored nature by feeling different plants and flowers. They also participated in creative art activities using natural materials and engaged in a tactile craft activity using corn kernels.
The students took part in a variety of fun and interactive activities that encouraged skill development. The Juice Collecting Roll activity was both exciting and educational. Students also enjoyed the Duck Craft Activity, where both students and teachers worked together to create adorable duck crafts. Finally, the Blowing Fun Activity allowed students to practice breath control while having fun blowing pom-poms and lightweight balls.
These activities provided a vibrant and engaging start to the new academic session, fostering creativity, teamwork, and curiosity among students.
