
Workshop on Beyond Barriers: Reading and Learning with Assistive Tools and Technologies
On 17th and 18th October , students from the Learning Resource Centre (LRC), along with two accompanying teachers, participated in a two-day workshop titled “Beyond Barriers: Reading and Learning with Assistive Tools and Technologies.” The event was organized by the Allama Iqbal Library in collaboration with the Department of Students Welfare, University of Kashmir.
The workshop focused on promoting inclusive education and empowering specially-abled learners through the effective use of modern assistive tools and technologies. Participants from various schools and colleges took part in interactive sessions that provided hands-on experience with a range of accessible learning resources.
The sessions highlighted the importance of technology in bridging learning gaps and creating an inclusive environment where every learner can thrive. The workshop proved to be an enriching experience, inspiring both students and teachers to explore innovative methods that support equal learning opportunities for all.
