9 Girls from DPS Srinagar Selected for Inter-Zonal Football Tournament
We at Delhi Public School, Srinagar feel delighted to announce that nine girls of our U-14 Girls Football Team showed a remarkable performance in the Trials-cum-Inter-School Football Tournament held on 30th May 2025 at Woodland House School, Sonwar Bagh.
In the opening match, the team from DPS Srinagar, showcased grit and discipline, securing a 1–0 win against Mallinson School. The winning goal was scored by Ayra Aamir of Class 7 D, setting a confident tone for the rest of the tournament.
The second match witnessed a dominant performance by the girls, who defeated Oak Hill School with a forceful 5–0 scoreline. Ayra Aamir continued her remarkable form, netting four goals, while Eishal Khan of Class 5 D added a fifth goal to seal the victory.
Owing to their exceptional skill, coordination, and sportsmanship, nine of our players have been selected to represent the zone in the upcoming Inter-Zonal Football Tournament. The details of the participants are as:
