Dipsites bag the prestigious Kennedy-Lugar Scholarship
Four students from our school made us proud by bagging a full scholarship which was awarded to them by the KL-Yes programme for the session 2017-2018. The students will get an opportunity to study in different schools in the U.S.A for one complete session. The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, provides scholarships for secondary school students (age 15-17) from countries with significant Muslim populations to spend one academic year in the United States. Every year only 36 students from India get the chance to have this international experience. DPS, Srinagar feels elated at this success of our students. The students who received this prestigious scholarship are: Hazika Reshi, Aimun Anis, Faseeha Naseer and Zeesha Shafi.
