DPS Srinagar dazzles at Kala Utsav
DPS Srinagar students put a dazzling performance at ‘Kala Utsav’ – a musical competition held at the Government Higher Secondary School Kothi Bagh.
Abeer Ahmad Shah, a talented student from class 12th D1, made the school proud by securing the 1st position in the percussion category.
In the solo instrumental category, Ali Shabir demonstrated remarkable skill and artistry, earning the 1st position.
The solo classical singing category witnessed a stellar performance by Meeran from class 10th H, accompanied by Raqeem Ahmad Tak of class 11th A1 on the harmonium. Together, they secured the 1st position in solo classical singing, captivating the audience with Meeran’s soulful rendition and Raqeem’s skillful accompaniment.
Commenting on the success of the students, the Principal Shafaq Afshan said, “The performance of these students is a testament to the talent of our students that shines under the guidance provided by the dedicated music faculty.” Congratulating the students, the Chairman Vijay Dhar said “We have reiterated our pledge to turn the school into a conduit that transforms talent into excellence every time.
