DPS Srinagar Excels at Asmita Pencak Silat League – North Zone
Delhi Public School Srinagar proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its students who represented Jammu and Kashmir at the Asmita Pencak Silat League – North Zone, held on 23rd and 24th February 2026 at the Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.
Competing at this prestigious platform, our students demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline and determination. Arsheek Muzafar of Class XI H2 and Hurriyah Showket of Class XI H1 secured Gold Medals, delivering stellar performances in their respective categories. Samma of Class XI H1 and Alishba Fatima Jeelani of Class XI H2 also performed admirably and each won a Silver Medal, adding further distinction to the school’s sporting accomplishments.
Congratulating the students, Principal Ms. Shafaq Afshan remarked, “These achievements reflect the perseverance, discipline and competitive spirit of our students. We are immensely proud of the way they have represented Jammu and Kashmir at such a prestigious platform.”
Chairman Mr. Vijay Dhar also extended his appreciation, stating, “Excellence in sports builds character, confidence and resilience. Our students have once again shown that dedication and hard work lead to remarkable success. We congratulate them and wish them continued growth in their sporting journey.”
