DPS Srinagar Shines at ASMITA Khelo India Women’s Pencak Silat League

Three students from Delhi Public School, Srinagar, represented Jammu & Kashmir at the ASMITA Khelo India Women’s Pencak Silat League (North Zone) held at Eklavya Sports Stadium, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, from February 10 to February 12, 2025. Their performances were nothing short of extraordinary, and they secured multiple medals, bringing immense pride to the school and the state. 

The results achieved were:

Gold Medalists:

  • Mehreen Ashiq (10th)
  • Adan Parviz (10th)

Bronze Medalist:

  • Aiysha Yatoo (10th)

The tournament witnessed participation from top athletes across the Northern zone, making the competition highly challenging. Despite the tough competition, our students showcased exceptional skill, unwavering determination, and exemplary sportsmanship, securing well-deserved podium finishes.

The entire school is proud of their achievements and commends their hard work, discipline, and dedication. Their success is a testament to their relentless efforts and the unwavering support of their families and the school to strive for excellence.
