DPS Srinagar shines at District Skiing championship
Srinagar: In the skiing district championship organized by Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir on 19 January 2021 at Gulmarg, DPS Srinagar bagged a rich haul of medals including six gold medals and a bronze medal. The winners have all been selected for the UT level championship to be held soon.
Commenting on the success of the winners, the vice principal Shafaq Afshan said “I congratulate the winners and am proud that they continue to bring laurels to not only the school, but the community at large.” The Chairman Vijay Dhar also congratulated the medalists and said “It is heartening to see our students are making a mark in less conventional disciplines and inspiring others to follow their lead.”
