A student of Delhi Public School, Srinagar, has earned a place in the highly prestigious Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (KL-YES) Program. Syed Fatimah Andrabi, currently in Class XI, has been selected among the 28 Indian students after a rigorous multi-stage selection process conducted at the national level. She will move to the United States in August 2025 on a 100% scholarship to spend a full academic year living with an American host family and study in a U.S. high school.

The KL-YES Program brings high school students from countries of strategic importance to the United States for an academic year to advance the U.S. foreign policy goals of promoting civil society, youth leadership development, and lasting ties between Americans and the people of participating countries.
