
DPS Srinagar Student Excels in ‘Pedal Through Paradise’ Cyclothon 2025
Delhi Public School Srinagar proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Class 12 student Mohammad Rafan Bhat, who clinched 9th place in the fiercely competitive senior men’s category (17+ years) at the “Pedal Through Paradise” Cyclothon 2025. Organized by the J&K Armed Police and the Fit India Movement on July 20, the event drew over 3,000 participants, who cycled from the Police Golf Course to Harwan and back.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Dal Lake, the annual cyclothon promoted community fitness while welcoming participants from ages 5 to 60, including differently-abled cyclists.” Amid this diverse and expansive field, Rafan’s standout performance highlighted his exceptional stamina and determination.
Speaking at the event, ADGP Anand Jain underscored the significance of such initiatives in motivating young people to embrace active, drug-free lifestyles and contribute to nation-building. “These events play a vital role in channeling youthful energy toward positive and constructive goals,” he stated.
