
DPS Srinagar Students Bring Laurels at the 3rd All India National Pencak Silat Championship
Delhi Public School Srinagar proudly announces the commendable achievement of its students who represented Jammu and Kashmir at the 3rd All India National Pencak Silat Championship. The prestigious national event was held from 29 to 31 January 2026 at the Multipurpose Stadium Parade Ground, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The championship was conducted under the banner of the Indian Pencak Silat Federation and witnessed participation from athletes across the country. DPS Srinagar students competed as part of the Jammu and Kashmir contingent and displayed remarkable discipline, skill, and sportsmanship.
Safa Manzoor of Class VI delivered an outstanding performance and secured a Gold Medal, while Hala Omar Akhtar of Class V earned a Bronze Medal, adding to the pride of the school and the region. Their achievements reflect dedicated training, perseverance and a strong competitive spirit.
The school congratulates both students for their exceptional success at the national level.
