DPS Srinagar students win Silver in Thang Ta Nationals
Three students of DPS Srinagar – Sujhat Wani (53 kg weight category), Mohammad Ibrahim Kirmani (41 kg weight category), and Munaza Aira (37 kg weight category) won silver medals at 28th NATIONAL SUB-JUNIOR AND SENIOR THANG-TA CHAMPIONSHIP 2023, held at CSI hall, Kanyakumari from 1st February to 3rd February 2023. Around 800 Athletes from 20 states all over India participated in the national championship.
Congratulating the medalists on their performance, The Principal said, “We are delighted with the selection of Munaza Aira. It is a reiteration of our proud legacy of excellence in sporting and other endeavours.” The Chairman Vijay Dhar said, “DPS Srinagar strives to create a blueprint for excellence in all fields. The securing of medals by our students is yet another example of this.”
