Sujhat Wani of DPS Srinagar wins bronze at National Thang-Ta Championship
Sujhat Wani: A class 9th student of DPS Srinagar has won the bronze medal in junior girls (53kg weight category) at the 29th JUNIOR National Thang-Ta Championship 2023, held at Multipurpose Indoor Sports hall, Polo ground, Srinagar, from October 3rd to October 5th, 2023. Around 550 Athletes from 25 states all over the country participated in the said championship.
Principal Shafaq Afshan congratulated the medalist and said, “We are sure this medal is the first in a long and chequered career that will bear witness to the school’s commitment to identifying and training talent.”
The Chairman Mr Vijay Dhar too congratulated the medalist, affirming, “Our unstoppable march to success in all fields – academics, sports, debates, declamations and all other fields really does us proud and reinforce our faith in the motto of selfless service which will uplift the society. Congratulations Sujhat.”
