Young Warriors of DPS Srinagar Shine at Jaipur MMA Meet

In a spirited display of discipline and competitive skill, students of Delhi Public School Srinagar registered an impressive victory at the Open MMA Championship 2025, organised by the Indian MMA Federation in collaboration with Sanskar School, Eternal Hospital, Stalwart, Street Club and Sports Mixed Martial Arts Association India. The championship was held in Jaipur from 14–16 November and witnessed participation from across the country.

The school is pleased to announce the medal winners:

  1. Syed Amaan (Class 8-G) – Gold Medal
  2. Sheikh Mohammad Musa (Class 9-C) – Bronze Medal
  3. Muheeb (Class 11-H2) – Bronze Medal

With nearly 500 young athletes from different states competing, the tournament offered a remarkable platform for emerging talent to test their skills at a higher competitive level. Our students’ performances stood out in both technique and conduct, marking a proud moment for the school community.

The event was graced by respected figures from the martial arts fraternity, including Shaif Bapu (Vice President AMMAF), Prasad Gaitonde (General Secretary MMA India), and Sunil Mudgul (Organising President).

DPS Srinagar congratulates all the winners and extends appreciation to the parents, coaches and teachers for nurturing the spirit of excellence and commitment in sports.
