Flourishing in the digital age demands great adaptability and skill, and Mushafiq Sharief has amply shown he possesses both in spades. After passing from DPS Srinagar, Mushafiq did his bachelors in Game Design from LPU in 2022.
While he was offered many jobs from a number of large corporations after graduation with great success – frequently launching and leading digital and social media initiatives, Mushafiq sought greater challenges and more rewarding opportunities by following his dream – he wanted to do his Masters in the Digital Games. “My schooling at DPS Srinagar gave me two important advantages, the first was the school’s incredible network, and the second was this spirit of chasing ones dream and never settle for less that truly set DPS Srinagar apart from its peers in Kashmir,” Mushafiq says.
Despite his success, Mushafiq remembers struggling through tough times: “It was not a straight road when I started out. I had to find ways to resolve issues and bottlenecks. The biggest lesson is to be ready for whatever surprises come your way, and to learn from mistakes and use them to grow.” His perseverance and dedication eventually paid off, and in recognition of his adaptability and skills, Mushafiq has got his masters in Digital Games at TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences at Germany with a full scholarship, after a series of multiple exams and personal interviews. TH Köln is ranked amongst the top universities in the world. This is Mushafiq’s second time in Europe as he was previously selected for “Study Abroad Programme in MRU Lithuania under a 100% Scholarship in 2021.
