Delhi Public School Srinagar’s Class 1 students embarked on an enchanting overnight camp on 1st and 2nd August 2025, blending joyful recreation, creative discovery, and budding curiosity in a safe and nurturing environment. The first morning began with a serene prayer that set a reflective and positive tone, followed by a spirited welcome song that ignited laughter and camaraderie among the young learners. Energized by light refreshments, the children eagerly embraced a lively dance session, showcasing their budding coordination and confidence under the guidance of our dedicated instructors. This was succeeded by team-building games that encouraged communication and friendship as students collaborated to overcome playful challenges.

After a hearty lunch and a brief rest, the children explored their artistic talents during a creative art session, expressing their imaginations through vibrant drawings and colorings. Their calm focus provided the perfect transition into an exhilarating swimming adventure, where professionally supervised splashing fun fostered water-confidence and healthy exercise. As the afternoon sun dipped, a mobile planetarium transported the students on a voyage through the solar system, coral reefs, and ocean depths, sparking wonder for science and nature in every young face.

As dusk settled, the children gathered around a crackling campfire to share stories and sing songs, creating lasting bonds under a canopy of stars. A nutritious dinner concluded the first day, satisfying appetites and ensuring restful slumber in anticipation of the final morning’s activities. On 2nd August, a refreshing group exercise session awakened sleepy eyes and happy hearts, followed by light refreshments and a wholesome breakfast to mark the successful culmination of two days brimming with laughter, learning, and lifelong memories.
