On 28 August 2023, Delhi Public School Srinagar organized its overnight camp for the students of grade 2.

The overnight camp was organized to boost and develop life skills among the students. The event received an overwhelming response with a total of 264 students opting to participate. It provided them with an opportunity to enjoy their independence and spend time away from home in a safe and supervised environment. The camp was specifically designed for the students of class 2, considering their developmental needs.

The camp commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome song performed by our dedicated teachers. The students actively participated in various immersive activities such as musical chairs and hand printing, which filled the corridors and indoor stadium with laughter and cheerful enthusiasm. They also enjoyed dance and music sessions with our Academic Head, in charge, and teachers.

One of the highlights of the evening was the bonfire, where the students danced and swayed to lively beats, creating a vibrant and joyous atmosphere. Our Principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan, graced the occasion with her affectionate presence and interacted freely with all the students, adding warmth to the cool evening.

Throughout the camp, the students were provided with scrumptious meals and lip-smacking snacks at regular intervals, which they thoroughly relished.

The camp concluded on the morning of 29th August 2023 with a light workout session and a refreshing breakfast. It was truly a memorable experience for all the students, filled with moments to cherish forever.
