Delhi public school, Srinagar organized the first ever overnight camp for Grade 7 on 23 June, 2023. The event received an overwhelming response with a total of 256 students opting to participate. The event started with the registration process, followed by a prayer led by the teachers. The teachers also performed a welcome song to set the mood.

Throughout the camp, various activities were organized to keep the students engaged and entertained. One of the highlights was the photo frame making activity, which was a hit among the students. They thoroughly enjoyed expressing their artistic skills.

In the evening, there was a zumba dance session which had everybody on their feet dancing and swaying to the music and thoroughly enjoying themselves and it was heartening to see the teachers also enthusiastically participating in them. A swimming session was also organized, allowing the students to cool down and have fun in the water. Music and dance sessions were again held, where the students showcased their talents and grooved to their favourite tunes. Outdoor games were played, promoting teamwork and friendly competition among the students.

To add to the camp experience, a campfire was organized where the students gathered around and shared stories and laughter. Delicious meals, snacks, and refreshments were provided, ensuring that the students were well-nourished and energized throughout the camp.

The next day started with a refreshing morning walk and a yoga session, which created a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The students actively participated and found these activities interesting and rejuvenating.

At the end of the camp, the students displayed a sense of responsibility by packing all their belongings neatly. Most of the parents were punctual in picking up their children, ensuring a smooth and timely conclusion to the camp.

Overall, the overnight camp for Grade 7 students was a huge success, with a great turnout and positive feedback from both students and parents. It provided a platform for students to learn, bond, and have a memorable experience together. Students took with them a lifetime of memories of an event to cherish forever.
