Cooking Day at LRC
The LRC Cooking Day 2024, organized by the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Department of Delhi Public School, took place on September 12th, 2024 and brought together students, parents, and teachers for a day filled with culinary creativity. Participants showcased their skills by preparing a diverse range of dishes that focused on both health and innovation.
The event featured delightful desserts such as Swiss Roll (Tooty Frooty Cake), Biscuit Cakes and puddings, while also promoting healthy options like Fruit Skewers, Fruit Salad, and the creatively arranged Fruit Caterpillar. On the savory side, dishes like Cheese Bread, Star Sandwiches, and Cucumber Delights added a balanced touch to the menu.
Students also enjoyed preparing fun snacks like Flip Flop Biscuits and Biscuit Foodie, with Nutella Bread and Peanut Crackers adding a sweet twist. Refreshing treats such as Watermelon Popsicles and Cake Popsicles were perfect for the warm day. A standout dish, Apple Caramel with Chocolate and Strawberry drizzle, brought together rich flavors, while the Eggstra Special Sandwich offered a nutritious option. Funny Fruit Pops and Fruit Cream added playful, delicious elements to the event.
The LRC Cooking Day encouraged teamwork, creativity, and an appreciation for healthy eating, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved. It also created an environment of team work among the teachers, students and parents.
