Fun, Friendship & Freedom: LRC Day Camp Highlights
The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Department of Delhi Public School organized a vibrant and activity-filled Day Camp on Saturday, 12th July 2025, offering students a day full of learning, laughter, and joyful experiences. The camp began with a warm and cheerful morning assembly, setting a positive tone for the day. This was followed by a creative art session, where students explored their imagination through painting and craftwork. After a healthy breakfast, the energy picked up with a lively round of musical chairs and an engaging theatre activity that encouraged expression and participation. Children enjoyed taking part, showcasing their dramatic and playful sides. A wholesome lunch was served, giving everyone time to relax and recharge. Post lunch, the excitement resumed with a dance party, where children grooved to their favorite tunes and expressed themselves freely through movement.
One of the highlights of the day was the refreshing swimming session, where students splashed around under the watchful eyes of trained instructors, building confidence and enjoying water play. Later in the evening, everyone gathered for snacks, followed by a light yet fulfilling dinner.
As the day drew to a close, students and staff assembled around a glowing bonfire, sharing stories, laughter, and quiet moments of reflection.
The LRC Day Camp was a tremendous success, offering students a balance of fun, freedom, and functional learning. It was a celebration of abilities, friendships, and the spirit of inclusion that the LRC Department continues to nurture with dedication.
