LRC conducts Plantation Day
On March 23, 2023 The Learning Resource Centre, Delhi Public School celebrated “The Plantation Day” in Tota Bagh to create awareness among the young minds about the invaluable resource on our planet – Plants and Trees. The little ones were taught about the importance of the trees for our environment and the ecosystem. Children were explained in detail about the process of sowing the seeds, the various phases undergone in becoming plants and also about the importance of air, sunlight, water and soil in the plant growth. Later, they were given seeds to sow in soil and watered them under the guidance of the teachers. They were thrilled to get involved in this interesting activity. It was a great pleasure seeing our children being gardeners for a day.
