Parent Orientation LRC
The Learning Resource Center organized an orientation programme on March 4th, for the set of parents to familiarize them, “as partners in progress” with the new academic session, curriculum, teaching methodologies, and the co-scholastic activities. The programme was packed with useful information on the LRC pedagogy, school policies, and classroom routine.
The programme commenced with a welcome note by the Vice Principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan. In her address, she thanked the parents for supporting the teachers during the online sessions and emphasized that by working within the framework of exploration, enthusiasm, and participation in co-scholastic activities, the students would achieve wonders and would gain holistic development. The teachers of LRC walked the parents through curriculum and thematic-based learning. It gave them an insight into the concepts that would be taught in the new academic session. A few tips on reading, writing, and how to help the children in learning better were shared by the teachers. It was followed by an interactive session where the teachers along with the Incharge, answered the queries of the parents. This provided a clear picture of the school’s facilities and instilled faith and confidence in the parents.
