Satyadevi Resource Centre’s Picnic to Charar-i-Sharief and Pakharpora: A Day of Reflection and Inclusion
The Sateyadevi Resource Centre at Delhi Public School department of the Delhi Public School, organized a special picnic for visually impaired adults to the tranquil sites of Charar-i-Sharief and Pakharpora. This outing was thoughtfully planned to blend learning, spirituality, and inclusivity, ensuring a meaningful experience for all participants.
Each visually impaired adult was accompanied by a family member, providing personalized support throughout the day. Mr .Hilall from the Satyadevi Resource Centre played a key role, offering guidance and assistance to the group, helping them fully engage with the historical and spiritual significance of Charar-i-Sharief.
At Pakharpora, the serene environment allowed for quiet reflection. Family members, along with Mr. Hilal , assisted the participants in navigating the area, making the experience both accessible and enriching.
This picnic, organized by the LRC department , was more than just a day out. It was a powerful demonstration of how inclusivity can be seamlessly integrated into daily life, ensuring that everyone felt valued, connected, and able to fully participate in the day’s activities.
