Visit to Nowgam Railway station ‘Rails of understanding’
On the 15th of May, 2024, the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) department of Delhi Public School, Srinagar, orchestrated an insightful visit for thirteen students to Nowgam Railway Station. This venture was meticulously planned to provide the students with hands-on experience and practical knowledge in various aspects of life skills.
During the two-hour visit, the students immersed themselves in the bustling atmosphere of the railway station, where they were exposed to the intricacies of travel dynamics firsthand. From witnessing the arrivals and departures of trains to observing the functioning of ticket counters, the students gained valuable insights into the operational mechanisms of a busy transportation hub.
