Awareness programme on First Aid & Common emergencies
An awareness programme on First Aid & Common Emergencies was held today by Dr Shamim Ahmad Bhat, Consultant Emergency Medicine & Academic Coordinator Saudi Board of Emergency Medicine, in collaboration with the medical department of school.
Dr Shamim talked about basic life saving practices & precautions in emergencies like road traffic accidents, snake poisoning, burns, nose bleeding, fractures & CPR.
At the end of the proramme, Dr Shamim said, “It was an excellent experience for me to interact with the students who were really very responsive and enthusiastic. I wish such programmes are conducted in future also.”
