Book Time activity conducted in School
The Dear – Drop Everything and Read (Book Time) activity was successfully done in the entire school on 25th April 2018 from 12 to 12:40 pm.
During these magical 40 minutes, the teachers and students were absorbed in their favorite books. There was complete silence all around, all other activities were put to a halt and only reading was going on in and outside class rooms.
The aim of this activity was to instill love of books and inculcate the habit of reading in children as well as in teachers.
The response was delightful as all the children and the teachers were carrying their favorite books and everybody started to read as soon as the clock struck 12.
The activity was completed successfully within the prescribed time. Both the children as well as the staff members enjoyed reading in these 40 minutes.
