Chinar House clinches U-17 Inter House Football Championship
Delhi Public School, Srinagar, hosted the U-17 Inter-House Football Finals on September 16, 2024, at the school campus. The match commenced at around 7:00 a.m. and concluded by 8:30 a.m. with Chinar House emerging as the champion.
In the first U-17 Inter-House football tournament, Chinar House clinched a narrow 1-0 win over Maple House in the first round, while Deodar House dominated Oak House with a 4-0 victory.
On 16th September, Chinar House showcased impressive skill, leading 2-0 by halftime. Despite a strong second-half comeback from Deodar House, Chinar House secured a commanding 5-2 victory with three more goals. Principal Ms. Shafaq Afshan congratulated Chinar House for their triumph and praised both the teams for their sportsmanship.
