Classes resumed for class 3rd and 4th after a year-old hiatus. This March, the start of the school year seemed more overwhelming than ever before. One could observe the mixed feelings of excitement and joy among the students and teachers of class 3rd and 4th. After the year of online learning, which was challenging for children, parents, and teachers alike, the willingness to go back to normal learning processes was high. All the standard safety procedures were followed as children entered the school premises. The first day at school was all fun and celebration.
The day was used as a medium of rekindling with children. There was a long gap of time and distance due to pandemic therefore many activities were organised to reconnect with the children. The day started with a special assembly conducted by class 3rd and 4th teachers. It included a puppet show and dance item by the teachers. The teachers had also planned many rekindling activities like Dastaan Goi, Folk Tales, Ladishah, etc. Children also played many games as it helps children to become motivated for further learning. The children enjoyed the day thoroughly and had a lovely time after a long break.
