DPS Srinagar collaborates with the Embassy of France as a Study Destination
Delhi Public School, Srinagar always thrives to provide the best education to its students. So in pursuit of that, DPS Srinagar has taken a step forward and collaborated with the French Embassy to help students with scholarships. The online session was conducted on 15 March 2022. The meeting was joined by Ms Maryline, Ms Nidhi Chopra, from Campus France, and Ms Sumera, Coordinator of International affairs of our school. The session commenced with an interesting activity in which students attempted to translate some English words into the French language. Then Ms Maryline gave references to several French series available on Netflix to students such as Lupin and Dix Pour Cent. Furthermore, she explained how France has made its presence in India. She gave examples of certain French-based MNCs like Decathlon and L’Oréal which are at present catering to the Indian markets. This was followed by an introduction by Ms Nidhi Chopra about her company, Campus Franch which thoroughly explained how it works for students to pursue their studies in France. She described different courses and study plans available in France. She also introduced students to CHARPAK BACHELOR’s SCHOLARSHIP. Then a Q&A session was held in which queries of the students were addressed.
In the end, Ms Sumera extended a vote of thanks and gratitude to Ms Maryline and Ms Nidhi Chopra for taking out their time and briefing our students about France as a study destination. Overall, the session was very informative as well as fun-filled.
