DPS Srinagar Students Experience Transformational Learning at TSAALS 2023 Program
Three students of the school – Zaara Farooq, Mantasha and Zainab Iqbal of DPS Srinagar attended the TSAALS 2023 program hosted at Camp panther, Snow Leopard Adventures by the Ganges at Rishikeshin Reshikesh from 24th May to 6th June 2023. They attended the program on a full scholarship, after having been selected through an interview process. 70 students from the country participated in the program.
The program entailed training in a curriculum that is far removed from typical class room education, focusing on holistic attainment of education as a medium of transformation. The sessions included; Theatre, Communication Skills, Socratic Dialogue and Community Action Venture in addition to a variety of enjoyable and stimulating athletic activities. The students reported great levels of satisfaction and joy at having had the privilege of attending such a transformative program, courtesy the school and its efforts to harness the talent of its students.
