DPS Srinagar Teachers’ delegation visit to Springdales School Dubai
A delegation from Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar embarked on a transformative journey to Springdales School Dubai as part of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programme from September 10th to Sept 18th, 2023. The primary objective of this visit was to explore innovative educational practices, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration between DPS Srinagar and Springdales School Dubai, with a focus on enhancing teaching and learning methods for educational best practices.
The visit aimed to achieve the exposure to International Best Practices, Collaborative Learning, Leadership Development, and Innovative Teaching Strategies. The DPS Srinagar delegation sought to gain insights into the international best practices in education, particularly in the context of teaching and learning methodologies and how to enhance the leadership skills and capabilities of educators from DPS Srinagar, enabling them to lead educational reforms effectively in their institution. This collaboration fostered knowledge exchange between DPS Srinagar and Springdales School Dubai to facilitate cross-cultural understanding and learning & exploring innovative teaching strategies that promote student engagement, critical thinking, and holistic development.
The delegation was given an extensive tour of the state-of-the-art campus at Springdales School Dubai, providing an opportunity to observe modern infrastructure and facilities that support effective teaching and learning. Interactive workshops were organized, focusing on various aspects of pedagogy, including Technology Integration, Inquiry-Based Learning that encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and explore subjects in-depth, Assessment and Feedback-The importance of formative and summative assessments, as well as constructive feedback mechanisms, were discussed in detail.
