Lights, silence, and narration: An enchanting session of Dastaangoi organised
On the 14th of October, students of DPS Srinagar were treated to an enriching literary experience through a captivating DastaanGoi session. This special session was organized by the school in collaboration with renowned storytellers Sunil Mehra and Pallav Mishra. The focus of the day was a spellbinding story titled “Mughal Baccha,” authored by the legendary Ismat Chugtai.
DastaanGoi, which translates to “The Art of Storytelling,” is a traditional form of oral storytelling that has been an integral part of Indian culture for generations.
