Mother’s Day celebrated with fervour
The students of class 1st and 2nd celebrated Mother’s Day with full fervour. Students made special gift for their mothers a day prior . They made colourful vases using craft papers. In this activity, both mothers and children participated. The children took outline of the hands of their mothers as well as theirs, and pasted it on a craft paper.
On 7th of May 2021, mothers were specially invited to an online session to spend a memorable time filled with activities and fun. Teachers started the celebrations with a beautiful quote “God is not everywhere that’s why He created mothers”. The mothers took an active part in the proceeding. They sang songs, recited poetry, acted and participated in the various games like completing a drawing drawn by their children.
Mother’s Day celebrations of class 3rd and 4th
Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother, as well as motherhood, maternal bond and influence of mothers in society. To show the love and respect to their mothers, the young and enthusiastic students of class 3rd and 4th celebrated this most special day on 6th of May, 2021.
Students made splendid crowns for their mothers. They presented the crowns to their mothers to wear them on their heads, and made them realize that they are not lesser than queens.
Later, the children also made beautiful cards wherein they drew a picture of their mother and wrote short poems and quotes about their mothers. Some students even stood up during online classes, and said something praiseworthy about their mothers. They were very eager, happy and were bubbling with energy. Mothers were moved by the token of love received from their children, which filled the air with heart-warming feelings of love, gratitude and appreciation.
