Online Session by US India Education Foundation Team
Session held by US India Education Foundation Team VIA (video conference) on 25th June 2015.
On 25 June 2015, the students of class 11 of our school got an opportunity to interact with the US India Education Foundation Team via video conference. The purpose of the session was to guide students about the educational opportunities in the United States of America. Ms. Renuka talked about the advantages of studying in the US. The trio talked about the procedure of getting an admission in any US based college and also gave students an idea about the various exams that they need to appear in for joining a college there like TOEFL(Test of English as a foreign language) and SAT(Scholastic aptitude test). They also praised the quality of education in the US and said that “the best thing about the American universities is that they are making learning fun”. At the end, Ms.Anubhooti Arora told the students about the components of a good essay in which she included decent language and personalization. As the topic was of deep interest to the students, they also interacted with the team and asked various questions for which they got satisfactory answers. It was a wonderful experience for the students to interact with the experts. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Quasain Qureshi, the vice head girl of the school. The students and the team enjoyed the session and all the students found it informative.
