School hosts University Fair for students
For the career guidance of the students, a Global University Fair was organized by DPS Srinagar on 27th August, 2022 for the students of X to XII classes, in order to give students an opportunity to know about best courses from top universities. In the fair, many top universities from India and abroad, set up their counseling centres to give information to the students. The aim of the university fair was to help students to get an overview of reputable universities and provide them with that vital edge over aspiring students eager to opt for future career options.
The event served as an ideal platform for students to meet and interact with diverse educational institutions so that their career path could be planned in a structured manner as per their career aspirations. The students and parents visited the representatives of each university and got a better understanding of the requirements to get into these institutions.
This fair also facilitated the young minds to acquire information to decide and pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Universities. The students also posed a variety of questions to the speakers related to courses, career options and placement opportunities by the Universities.
