Seminar held for students of class VI
A seminar was held for the students of class VI at Delhi Public School, Srinagar on 20 August,2018. The topic for the seminar was: ‘Excessive Use of Mobile Phones Can Hamper the Pleasure of an Active Childhood’. The judges of the event were Ms Shazia Fida (English Remediation Incharge LKG-10), Ms Saika Bashir (Second Incharge Junior) and Nazia Rashid (English Coordinator Tiny Tots). Mr Alistair R A Freese Principal of the school and Ms Shafaq Afshan Vice-Principal of the school were also present during the seminar.
Each class was represented by 1 participant. The students spoke eloquently on the topic and impressed the judges with their oratory skills. Mohammad Anaab of class VI-F bagged the first position, Areen of class VI-H received the runners-up prize and Tayyibah of class VI-C bagged the second runners-up prize. The Principal felicitated the students for their wonderful presentation.
