Skiing Courses held at Gulmarg
School conducted a 10 days Annual Skiing Course from 04th March to 13th March 2022 at Gulmarg under the banner of Winter Games Association of J&K. The aim of the course was to impart theoretical and practical training on all aspects of Snow Skiing and High Altitude to students and to train the students to operate in mountains/snowbound terrains. 11 students along with few staff members took an active part in different courses i.e. Basic Technique and Slalom. Mr. Abbas Wani (President Winter Games Association of J&K) was invited as a chief guest & Mr. Sandy Rigzin (Chief Instructor IISM) as a Guest of Honor for the ceremony who praised the students for their excellent performance. Some of the students showed excellent performance and received medals and a number of trophies as well.
