Special Independence Day Assembly
A special assembly was held to mark India’s 69th Independence today i.e. 17th August, 2015.
The programme began with a short skit urging students to follow three golden rules put forth by Mahatma Gandhi. To keep alive the flame of patriotism, the students performed a patriotic dance and a song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our motherland. At last, National Anthem was sung by both teachers and the students. A patriotic fervour was quite visible on the innocent faces of the budding citizens of tomorrow.
It was indeed a day of joy, love and respect for the country and the students urged to make India a better place to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
