Visit by Ms. Diviya Arora

Ms.Diviya Arora – National AFS (American Field Service) partners for Youth Exchange Program (YES) visited Delhi Public School, Srinagar on 29^th October,2013.  Diviya, who works with Yes- an innovation High School Student Exchange Program funded by the U.S conducted an interesting session with some students and their parents. The students who had applied for the scholarship were tested for their creativity, sensibility and comprehensive power through a variety of activities. The session become more interesting when the parents of the children understand a similar session of games and other activities to trace the shared likes and dislikes between the parents and their children.

The session ended on a positive note with the parents of the children being completely satisfied after their interactive conversation with Diviya. Their apprehensions and safety related queries were very aptly addressed.

YES- which is the wonderful exchange of cultures and customs provides opportunities to High School children to study in the US currently, Asar Majeed (17) from DPS, Srinagar is enrolled under the program and is pursuing her further studies in US.
