Art can connect and unite people in many ways and plays a major role in promoting communication and sharing knowledge among people of different heritages. The “World Art Day” is celebrated to nurture creativity and innovation in the artist all over the globe and to promote unity in cultural diversity. Art has many other qualities as well and to provide an environment where artists and artistic freedom are promoted and protected, the World Art Day is celebrated globally on 15th April every year. The day also promotes awareness about that exists in artistic expressions and highlight the contribution made by various artists towards sustainable development of the society.  

In order to aware the students about the same, the LRC department of the Delhi Public School, Srinagar celebrated the World Art Day today. There were many art activities that were done which included Mural Painting, Mosaic Art, Painting wet on wet, Crumpled paper Art etc. Students were very excited while participating in different art activities. The event was organized to encourage the children for the purpose of enhancing their talents. Everyone present there greatly applauded the performance of the students. Finally, the Incharge of the LRC department thanked everyone for their presence which helped the event to be completed successfully.
