D.P.S bags three prizes in Essay and Painting Competition on Wild-life conservation
An Inter School Essay and Painting Competition was held at the Dachigam National Park on Saturday 29th September, 2012. The prize distribution ceremony for the same was held at SKICC on Wednesday, 3rd October, 2012. Mukarram Wahid for our school secured 1st position in the essay writing competition entitled “Wild Conservation – Can We Afford It”. In the painting competition Syed Basharat Hussein of Class X secured second position while Muhammad Manan Khan also of Class X got the constellation prize. The theme for the painting competition was also related to the Conservation of wildlife.
