Junior Cricket Championship Kick Starts Today
The Junior Cricket Championship U-17 was kick-started in 8 districts today. A grand participation was witnessed at all block levels. The teams of different schools from various districts of the valley were seen competing against each other. The Junior Cricket championship is a mega sports event jointly organized by Delhi Public School, Srinagar and Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council. The event aims at identifying the sports talent at grass root level in the Kashmir province and intends to provide the cricket enthusiasts a platform to showcase their talent. The event is catering to about 320 teams consisting of around 4800 players and we will be conducting about 319 matches in total.
